SENIOR HOME REPAIR PROGRAM
The Blessed Divas Corp offers a senior program designed to help seniors over the age of 70 live comfortably in their homes. This program focuses on providing home repairs and meals when needed.
:
- Home Repairs: Volunteers perform essential repairs to ensure the home is safe and accessible.
- Meals: Providing nutritious meals to seniors who may have difficulty preparing food themselves.
-Fixing structural issues like boarding holes, some minor plumbing, etc.
*Accessibility Modifications-Installing ramps, grab bars, and other modifications to make homes more accessible.
*Weatherization- Weather proofing the windows.
*Minor Renovations-Updating kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas to improve livability.
*Emergency Repairs-Addressing urgent repairs to prevent accidents or further damage.
These services help seniors maintain their independence and live safely in their own homes.
Blessing Pantry
We’re excited to announce the Wellness Blessing Pantry serving anyone facing food insecurity in the community.
Location-
Dunbar Recreation Center, 477 Windsor St SW, Atlanta, GA 30312, the pantry will offer free, accessible food support for those in need.
- Operating Hours: Every Saturday from 11 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Location: Dunbar Recreation Center, 477 Windsor St SW, Atlanta, GA 30312.
- Who’s Welcome: Anyone facing food insecurity is invited to come by and get the support they need.
Registration for pantry services will be available onsite.
